Job Title

Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical

Location

Spokane, WA | Rehabilitation

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Weekends required per facility needs, minimum every other weekend

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit within a rehabilitation facility setting
• Maintain patient ratios of 1:6–8 in accordance with facility standards
• Document patient care and clinical information using Epic electronic health records
• Float between units within the facility as needed based on staffing requirements
• Commit to working 3 of the 5 designated holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
• May be expected to float to nearby sister facilities as directed by the assignment

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required; compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 1 year of recent Medical Surgical RN experience required
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• Must commit to all requested time off and scheduling preferences upfront at time of submittal — post-offer RTO requests may not be granted
• 2 professional references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required prior to start (may include Charge RNs or Leads)
• Facility does not accept background check hits; candidates with Nursys or background issues will not be considered

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience working in a rehabilitation or acute care hospital environment
• Familiarity with Epic charting system
• Experience working in a travel or contract nursing capacity
