Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Nights, 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM | Every Other Weekend | Holidays Required

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation across a Med Surg and Remote Telemetry unit
• Direct and coordinate nursing care based on established clinical nursing practices and unit protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure effective patient care delivery and achievement of desired patient outcomes
• Administer medications using bedside scanning in accordance with facility policy
• Float between Medical Surgical and Telemetry departments as needed based on unit demand
• Document patient care using Cerner EMR

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid in the state of Georgia (or compact eligibility)
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in an acute care setting
• Recent hands-on experience with Cerner EMR charting
• Experience with Med Surg patients and remote telemetry monitoring
• Minimum of 2 completed travel assignments required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Orthopedics, Post-op, CHF, or Respiratory patient populations
• Comfort working in a high-volume unit environment (approximately 810 patient encounters per month)
• Ability to manage patient ratios of 1:6–7 in a collaborative team setting
