Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and provide nursing care to patients on a Medical/Surgical unit
- Address age-related physiological, emotional, and cognitive needs of adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
- Perform care planning, vital signs monitoring, medication administration, and psychosocial assessments
- Supervise and delegate care responsibilities to ancillary personnel within their scope of practice
Required Qualifications
- Associate Degree (A.S.) in Nursing or equivalent
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in state of practice
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Prior experience on a Medical/Surgical floor
