Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 13-Week Assignment with Possible Extension | Every Other Weekend (EOW) | 3x12 or 4x12 Hours (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical Oncology floor
• Manage a patient ratio of 1:6 or 1:7, with experience in higher ratios required
• Perform telemetry monitoring and IV starts as part of routine patient care
• Document patient information and care accurately using Cerner and Soarian EMR systems
• Adhere to block scheduling requirements and every-other-weekend availability commitments
• Complete up to 8 hours of non-billable orientation modules via HealthStream prior to start

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (must be obtained prior to start; proof of pending licensure may be considered)
• Minimum of 1 year of recent Medical Surgical nursing experience
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Proficiency with telemetry monitoring and IV insertion
• Experience working with higher patient ratios (1:6 or 1:7)
• Minimal to no requested time off (RTO), particularly around holidays; any RTO must be disclosed at time of submission

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Oncology nursing experience highly preferred
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred
• Familiarity with Cerner and Soarian EMR platforms
