Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Days, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a 29-bed Med/Surg Orthopedic unit with a 5:1 patient ratio
- Care for post-operative surgical patients and manage cardiac drip protocols including amiodarone, diltiazem, and heparin
- Utilize remote telemetry monitoring and document patient care using Meditech EMR
- Collaborate with charge nurses, fellow RNs, and ACT staff to maintain safe, high-quality patient outcomes
- Adapt to unit overflow capacity and support a high-energy, team-oriented environment
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 2 years of current acute care Med/Surg RN experience
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Prior experience with Meditech EMR
- Background working with post-surgical and orthopedic patient populations
