Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit
- Monitor and interpret telemetry readings and respond to changes in patient condition
- Administer medications, treatments, and nursing interventions per physician orders
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the medical record
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Iowa or compact license eligibility
- Current BLS certification
- Experience in a Medical Surgical or Telemetry nursing setting
- Ability to work every third weekend as part of the scheduled rotation
- Availability to work holiday shifts including Christmas
Preferred Experience / Skills- Prior telemetry monitoring experience
- ACLS certification
- Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems
