Contract | Days | Onsite | 12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | Every other weekend required | Holiday rotation may apply
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care on a 48-bed Medical Surgical unit managing common diagnoses including pneumonia, UTI, altered mental status, GI bleed, alcohol withdrawal, and fall/weakness cases
Titrate applicable drips including heparin, bumex, and lasix (cardiac drip titration not required)
Monitor patients on telemetry in coordination with dedicated monitor technicians; interpret and respond to alerts as needed
Collaborate with Respiratory Therapy for management of BiPAP, CPAP, and high-flow O2 equipment; RN role is monitoring and escalation
Work alongside Patient Care Technicians and Charge Nurses; may be floated to other Medical Surgical, MS-Tele, or IMC units for lower acuity assignments
Adhere to scheduling requirements including rotating day/night shifts (typically 2 weeks days / 2 weeks nights) with no self-scheduling or block scheduling
Required Qualifications
Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license — licensing hits must be disclosed at time of submission
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Minimum of 1 year of RN experience (first-time travelers accepted)
Valid, unexpired driver's license — copy required with all submissions
Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility
Flexibility to float to Medical Surgical, MS-Tele, or IMC units as needed
Preferred Experience / Skills
Experience with titratable drips such as heparin, bumex, and lasix in a Medical Surgical setting
Familiarity with telemetry monitoring workflows and multi-patient assignments
CNA certification or willingness to complete PCT training if applicable
