Contract | Nights | 3x12-hour shifts | 1900–0730 | Expected 36 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and provide high-quality, compassionate patient care utilizing the nursing process and unit-specific standards of practice
• Develop, implement, and continually reassess individualized patient plans of care, including physical, psychological, social, and rehabilitative needs
• Administer medications and complete nursing procedures and treatments; accurately document care, assessments, interventions, and patient responses
• Perform holistic, ongoing patient assessments and evaluate discharge plans for appropriateness, educational needs, and necessary changes
• Educate patients, families, and significant others on relevant health information in a timely manner
• Serve in a Charge Nurse capacity, delegating appropriately to non-licensed assistive personnel and collaborating with all members of the healthcare team; may be required to float between campuses or serve as a sitter in rotation

Required Qualifications

• Active Washington State RN license or Compact RN license required
• Active BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Prior charge nurse experience required
• Must practice within the guidelines of the Washington Nurse Practice Act and applicable unit-specific standards
• Ability to maintain current knowledge of workflows, processes, and evidence-based procedures

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous Medical/Surgical nursing experience in an acute care setting
• Experience floating between multiple units or campuses
• Strong communication and collaboration skills within multidisciplinary healthcare teams
