Deliver primary nursing care to patients on a 24-bed Med/Surg unit with a focus on oncology and general surgery
Administer chemotherapy in accordance with unit policy (chemo-certified nurses only)
Monitor and document vital signs per unit protocol, including every 4 hours for remote telemetry patients
Collaborate with charge nurses, care team members, and support staff within a team-based primary nursing care model
Utilize the facility's EMR system (Meditech) and iPhone-based nursing communication system to coordinate care
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
Minimum of 1 year of current acute care hospital Med/Surg experience
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Preferred Experience / Skills
Chemotherapy administration certification
Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
Experience with remote telemetry patients
