    TravelNurseSource is working with Concentric Healthcare Staffing to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Wichita, Kansas, 67214!

    Job Title

    Travel RN – Medical/Surgical (Oncology & General Surgery)

    Location

    Wichita, Kansas

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Travel | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 13-Week Assignment

    Key Responsibilities
    • Deliver primary nursing care to patients on a 24-bed Med/Surg unit with a focus on oncology and general surgery
    • Administer chemotherapy in accordance with unit policy (chemo-certified nurses only)
    • Monitor and document vital signs per unit protocol, including every 4 hours for remote telemetry patients
    • Collaborate with charge nurses, care team members, and support staff within a team-based primary nursing care model
    • Utilize the facility's EMR system (Meditech) and iPhone-based nursing communication system to coordinate care
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
    • Minimum of 1 year of current acute care hospital Med/Surg experience
    • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Chemotherapy administration certification
    • Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
    • Experience with remote telemetry patients
