    TravelNurseSource is working with Concentric Healthcare Staffing to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Wichita, Kansas, 67214!

    Job Title

    Travel RN – Medical/Surgical

    Location

    Wichita, Kansas

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Travel | Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Onsite

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care on a 34-bed Medical/Surgical and Surgical Services unit
    • Manage a patient ratio of 6:1 across a diverse surgical population including total joint, spine, and orthopedic cases
    • Operate and monitor traction equipment as required by patient care needs
    • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including charge nurses and patient care technicians across day shift
    • Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately using Meditech EMR
    • Apply spine, hip, and joint precautions in accordance with unit protocols
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
    • Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital Med/Surg or Orthopedic experience
    • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced surgical services environment
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Familiarity with traction equipment and management
    • Experience with spine, hip, and joint precaution protocols
    • Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
    • Outgoing, compassionate team player with strong interpersonal skills
