Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Days, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | Full-Time | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 34-bed Medical/Surgical and Surgical Services unit with a 6:1 patient ratio
• Perform and assist with procedures including total joint replacements and spine surgeries
• Manage patients requiring traction and adhere to spine, hip, and joint precaution protocols
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including charge nurses, PCTs, and sitters across day and night shifts
• Document patient care accurately using Meditech EMR

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid for the state of Kansas
• Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital Med/Surg or Orthopedic experience
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Travel RN candidates strongly preferred for this assignment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Familiarity with traction equipment and management
• Experience with spine, hip, and joint precaution protocols
• ACLS certification
• Outgoing, compassionate team player with strong interpersonal skills
