Registered Nurse – Primary Care (Outpatient Clinic)

Full-Time | Direct Hire | Onsite | Days (Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM)
Key Responsibilities
Provide clinical services within an outpatient ambulatory care setting, collaborating with providers and clinic staff to ensure quality patient care and efficient use of resources.
Offer leadership and direction to clinic staff, overseeing all aspects of clinic operations including front desk and patient care functions.
Accurately and thoroughly document all care and services provided in a timely and professional manner.
Maintain medication inventory and supplies, and ensure required quality control checks are completed for Point of Care testing.
Assist providers and staff by anticipating needs and communicating effectively across departments to support efficient patient care.
Oversee the opening and closing procedures for provider clinics and maintain a clean, safe, and well-supplied work environment.
Required Qualifications
Current, full, and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in Alaska or another U.S. state; direct hire candidates must have applied for an Alaska nursing license prior to start date.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Clinical Competency Assessment must be completed within 3 months of hire and renewed every three years.
High Risk Competency must be completed within 3 months of hire and renewed annually.
Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs and perform physical duties including standing, walking, and reaching for extended periods.
Preferred Experience / Skills
Minimum of 1 year of acute care nursing experience preferred.
Familiarity with nursing process, infection control principles, and customer service best practices in a clinical setting.
Proficiency with electronic health records, medical equipment, and strong oral and written communication skills.
