Position Overview

The ICU RN will provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients while working collaboratively with physicians, advanced practice providers, respiratory therapy, and other members of the interdisciplinary team.


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive assessments and continuously monitor critically ill patients
  • Identify changes in patient condition and respond promptly using sound clinical judgment
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans
  • Administer medications and treatments according to established standards
  • Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team
  • Maintain patient safety and promote a healing, compassionate care environment
  • Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and ongoing care
  • Participate in discharge planning and continuity-of-care activities
  • Delegate appropriately and coordinate care with other healthcare team members
  • Utilize critical thinking and independent nursing judgment in complex clinical situations


Technology Requirement

EPIC experience is REQUIRED.

Candidates should be comfortable navigating EPIC for documentation, medication administration, care planning, and clinical communication.
