Travel Nurse RN - Mother Baby - $1,472 per week in Dallas, TX

Job Title: RN Mom/Baby Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Post Partum/Mom Baby Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 1 year License: RN Certifications: NRP, BLS Must-Have: - Mother/Baby experience Description: This is a travel RN position in the Mother/Baby unit. The unit typically consists of 70 beds and a staffing level of around 120. Day shift staffing includes a charge nurse, resource nurses, admit nurses, and registered nurses. Night shift has a patient ratio of 1:3 for couplets. Common equipment includes Electronic Medical Records (EMR). Typical procedures performed include Mother/Baby care and lactation support. Additional procedures performed are phototherapy, blood sugar checks, and IV antibiotics. A positive attitude, flexibility, and teamwork are highly valued traits for candidates. Floating to other areas is rare but may occur as a resource nurse. Weekend shifts of 3-4 per schedule are required, with no on-call duty.
