Travel Nurse RN - Mother Baby - $1,509 per week in Austin, TX

Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Postpartum – Austin, Texas

Start Date: July 6, 2026

Location: Austin, Texas

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, 13-week contract, rotating weekends, no call required

Highlights:

• 24-bed postpartum unit with patient ratios of 3:1 to 4:1, occasionally 2:1 based on acuity
• Work alongside experienced nursing team in a collaborative environment
• 13-week assignment with no call requirements
• EMR systems: Meditech and CPN
• Night shift staffing includes charge nurse, RNs, and unit clerk support
• Opportunities for permanent placement available

Requirements:

• Active RN license in Texas or compact state eligibility
• Current BLS certification required
• Previous Labor & Delivery or Antepartum experience strongly preferred
• Experience with non-stress tests, hyperemesis management, insulin drips, magnesium administration, and heparin drips preferred
• Strong teamwork orientation and excellent communication skills
• Navy blue scrubs required
