Travel Nurse RN - Mother Baby - $1,871 per week in Austin, TX

Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse / Postpartum – Austin, Texas

Start Date: May 11, 2026

Location: Austin, Texas

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, 12-hour night shifts, rotating weekends, no call required

Highlights:

• 13-week contract assignment supporting a high-volume maternal care unit
• Patient ratio of 3:1 to 4:1 couplet care, occasionally 2:1 based on acuity
• 24-bed postpartum unit within a Level IV maternal and Level III NICU facility
• Annual birth volume of approximately 12,000 deliveries (1,000 per month)
• EMR: Meditech and CPN
• Navy blue scrubs required

Requirements:

• Active Registered Nurse license
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• NRP Advanced Provider certification required (not Essentials)
• Previous Labor & Delivery or Antepartum experience strongly preferred
• Experience with procedures such as non-stress tests, hyperemesis management, insulin drips, magnesium administration, and heparin drips
