Travel Nurse RN - Mother Baby - $1,995 per week in Denver, CO

Job Title: Travel RN - Postpartum Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Post Partum/Mom Baby Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent acute care hospital experience in Postpartum/Mom Baby License: Registered Nurse Certifications: BLS & NRP Must-Have: 1 year of current acute care hospital Postpartum/Mom Baby experience. Description: This position requires the monitoring of vital signs and administering medications. Responsibilities include managing perineal care and educating parents on newborn care, safety, and bonding. The unit typically consists of 23 beds and has approximately 80 staff members. On the night shift, the typical staff includes 1 charge nurse and 9-10 RNs on the floor with additional RNs in the nursery. Patient ratios are estimated to be 3 or 4:1. Candidates must be flexible with their schedule and adaptable to new situations. The ideal candidate should possess a compassionate demeanor, patience, and a team-oriented mindset. Communication with staff and providers is prioritized.
