Travel Nurse RN - Neonatal Intensive Care Unit - $1,871 per week in Austin, TX

Minimum of 2 years of Level 3 NICU experience is required. Candidates with experience as travelers will be considered first. Description: This position is for a Seasonal Contract Registered Nurse in a Level 3-4 NICU. The role requires a commitment of 13 weeks. The shift is from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Nurses will care for patients in a setting with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 3-4 patients per RN. The unit has a total of 97 beds with approximately 200 staff members. Day shift typically includes a charge nurse, several RNs, and nursing aides. Night shift primarily consists of RNs and also includes clerical support. Essential equipment used in the unit includes Medfusion pumps, Alaris pumps, and GE monitors. The electronic medical record system in use includes CPN and Meditech. Ideal candidates will possess a friendly, outgoing, and compassionate demeanor. Dress code requires navy scrubs and prohibits nail polish or artificial nails.
