RN – Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Position Summary

Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) with a strong background in Level III and/or Level IV NICU. Candidates must be comfortable working in a high-acuity, fast-paced neonatal intensive care environment.

Requirements
  • Active RN license
  • Minimum 2 years of recent Level III and/or Level IV NICU experience
  • BLS Certification
  • NRP Certification
  • First-time travelers considered with manager approval
Patient Population

Care for critically ill newborns with conditions including:

  • Respiratory Distress Syndrome (RDS)
  • Transient Tachypnea of the Newborn (TTN)
  • Meconium Aspiration Syndrome (MAS)
  • Bronchopulmonary Dysplasia (BPD)
  • Congenital Heart Defects
  • Patent Ductus Arteriosus (PDA)
  • Persistent Pulmonary Hypertension of the Newborn (PPHN)
  • Seizures
  • Intraventricular Hemorrhage (IVH)
  • Hypoxic-Ischemic Encephalopathy (HIE)
  • Necrotizing Enterocolitis (NEC)
  • Feeding Intolerance
  • Gastroesophageal Reflux (GER)
  • Renal Failure
  • Congenital Anomalies
  • Sepsis
  • Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome (NAS)

Schedule
  • Shift: 12-hour Nights
  • Hours: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
  • 36 hours per week
  • Every other weekend required
  • Additional Friday and Monday rotations within the scheduling cycle
  • Holiday rotation required
  • No on-call requirements
