**Exciting Opportunity for a Travel NICU RN!** **Job Description:** - **Unit Information:** - **Location:** Thornton, CO - **Floor:** 3rd floor of the main tower - **Number of Beds:** 6 - **Number of Staff:** 15 - **Staffing:** - **Day Shift:** Core staffing of 2 NICU RNs and 1 NNP on site 24/7. Neonatologists on call 24/7. - **Night Shift:** Core staffing of 2 NICU RNs and 1 NNP on site 24/7. Neonatologist on call 24/7. - **Patient Ratios:** - 3:1 for feeder growers - 1:1 for vented babies - **Types of Equipment:** - Giraffe Omnibeds - STAR GE resuscitation for transport - Giraffe with Shuttle transport - **EMR Systems:** CPN and Meditech - **Ideal Candidate Qualifications:** - **Must-Have:** - Minimum 1-year of current NICU RN acute care experience - BLS and NRP certifications - Level 2 NICU experience - Infant resuscitation experience - **Preferred:** - Level 3 or 4 NICU experience - Experience with Eat Sleep Console for babies with Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome - Admissions and initial stabilization experience in the delivery room - **Typical Procedures:** - Assisting NNP with umbilical line placement - Intubation assist - LP assist - Circumcision - **Unit Culture:** - We are a work family!
