### Exciting Opportunity for NICU Travel Registered Nurse in Dallas!
**Job Description:**
- **Location:** Dallas, Texas
- **Unit:** NICU
- **Address:** 7777 Forest Lane, Dallas, Texas 75230
- **Building:** Bldg A, North Tower 4th Floor
**Unit Specifics:**
- Number of Beds: 108
- Patient Ratios: 1:1 – 1:4
- Staffing: RNs, LVNs, PCTs, and Nurse Externs
- Equipment: Nasal Cannula, Bubble CPAP, Vents, Oscillators, IV pumps, NIRS, Warmers, Isolettes
- Documentation System: CPN, Meditech
- Scheduling: 3-12 hr shifts/week, rotating weekends and holidays
- Floating Policy: Contract staff float before staff (Areas include: PICU, Pediatrics, CICU; Care for patients <2yrs)
- Experience Requirement: Minimum 1 year level III experience
**Hiring Profile:**
- **Requested Skill Set:**
- Experience with preemies (at least 28 weeks and above)
- Management of central lines
- Respiratory management for intubated patients
- **Advanced Skills Needed:**
- Surgical patients, cardiac patients
- Care of trach infants
- Experience with Broviac lines
- **Procedures Performed on Unit:**
- Central line insertions
- Circumcisions
- Exploratory laps
- Gastroschisis reductions
- PDA ligations
- **Certifications Required:** BLS, NRP
**Dress Code:**
- Required uniform: Royal blue scrubs
