Description:
The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit is looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse.
The unit has a total of 16 beds and a staff of 35.
During the day shift, there are 5 staff members per shift, along with a charge nurse.
Night shifts also have 5 staff members and a charge nurse.
The patient-to-nurse ratio is 1:2.
The unit utilizes CPN and Meditech as the electronic medical record systems.
Candidates must be family-centered, caring, and flexible.
Typical procedures performed include intubation, umbilical line placement, PICC placement, lumbar punctures, and x-rays.
Full-time staff are expected to work 5 weekend shifts within a 4-week schedule.
There is no mandatory on-call requirement.
The dress code consists of purple scrubs.
