Key Responsibilities of the RN - NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care- Provide care for critically ill infants requiring advanced respiratory and nutritional support
- Perform procedures such as newborn resuscitation, intubation, umbilical line placement, and more
- Support breastfeeding and ensure communication with families
- Discharge planning and staff collaboration to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Requirements of the RN - NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care- RN licensure
- BLS, NRP certifications
- Experience with IV insertion in preterm or term infants
- Ability to work independently with strong assessment skills in preterm infant care
- Advanced skills in neonatal respiratory and nutritional support
