# Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, NICU – Kansas

Start Date: June 30, 2026

Location: Wichita, Kansas

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM; seasonal travel assignment

Highlights:

• 84-bed Level IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at a premier teaching facility
• Patient ratios: 2:1 NICU, 3:1 NSCU for high-quality, safe patient care
• Advanced clinical experience with complex procedures including whole body cooling, high-frequency ventilation, surgical cases (NEC, PDA, CVC), PDA ligations, and chest tubes
• Collaborative team environment with 160+ unit staff including Charge CNCs, RNs, Unit Secretaries, and Respiratory Therapists
• Modern equipment including Medela, Alaris, Ohmeda, Drager ventilators, and Philips/GE ECG systems
• EMR: Neonatal Notes Manager/Meditech

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of current acute care NICU hospital experience
• Active Kansas RN licensure (or eligibility for licensure)
• Current BLS and NRP certifications
• Level IV NICU experience strongly preferred
• Prior Meditech experience preferred
• Experience working in large teaching facilities a plus
