Travel Nurse RN - Neonatal Intensive Care Unit - $2,307 per week in Irving, TX

Job Opportunity – NICU Registered Nurse – Texas

Start Date: July 23, 2026

Location: Irving, Texas

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, three 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours per week), rotating weekends, no call requirements

Highlights:

• 13-week assignment in a Level III/IV NICU with a family-centered care approach
• Care for infants requiring advanced support including CPAP, ventilation, and central line management
• Opportunity to serve as Charge RN and participate in stabilization and delivery attendance
• Work with modern equipment including GE bedside monitors, Giraffe and Panda warmers, and Neomed/Medfusion pumps
• Documentation systems include Meditech and CPN
• Float opportunities available to Newborn Nursery as needed

Requirements:

• Active RN license in Texas (temporary licenses not accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of hospital-based NICU experience required
• BLS and NRP certification required
• STABLE certification required
• Experience caring for infants on CPAP or ventilator support
• Demonstrated experience with central line management
• Stabilization and delivery room attendance experience
• Developmental care knowledge and application
• Willingness to assume Charge RN responsibilities
• Meditech experience preferred
• Ability to assist with procedures including line placement, circumcision, and intubation
