Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated RN specializing in Neonatal Intensive Care for a travel contract in Park Ridge, IL. This is an opportunity for experienced neonatal nurses to work in a prestigious Magnet hospital and Level 1 Trauma Center. Key Responsibilities of the RN - NICU- Provide high-quality care to premature infants and unstable newborns requiring medical and surgical care
- Utilize SERVO and HFOV vents, traches, chest tubes, and inhaled nitric oxide
- Manage umbilical and arterial lines, drips, and NG, G-tube, and enteral feeds
- Collaborate with a 24/7 Neonatologist and RT for comprehensive patient care
- Maintain infection prevention protocols, including usage of individual stethoscopes per patient
Requirements of the RN - NICU- BLS and NRP certifications
- Minimum of 1.5 years of NICU experience
- Proficiency with EPIC charting system
