Travel Nurse RN - Neonatal Intensive Care Unit in Asheville, NC

Travel RN – NICU

Asheville, NC

Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Days | 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM | Every Other Weekend Required

• Provide direct patient care in a 51-bed Level III Neonatal ICU setting
• Manage patient assignments at varying acuity ratios including 1:1, 1:2, 1:3, and 1:4
• Utilize Cerner EMR for accurate and timely documentation of patient care
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including charge RNs and respiratory therapists
• Float to Pediatrics, PICU, and Mother Baby (babies only) as needed

• Active RN license with current NICU clinical experience
• Minimum of 2 years of Level III or higher NICU experience
• Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
• Proficiency with Cerner EMR
• Detail-oriented and highly organized with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced NICU environment

• S.T.A.B.L.E. certification preferred
• NIC-RNC (Neonatal Intensive Care Nursing Certification) preferred

• Work in a nationally recognized acute care facility serving as the regional referral center for tertiary and quaternary care in western North Carolina, including the only Level II trauma center and comprehensive stroke center in the region
• Gain experience in a high-acuity Level III NICU within a children's hospital that has earned numerous awards and accreditations, located in the vibrant and scenic city of Asheville along the Blue Ridge Mountains
