Registered Nurse - Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Days | Weekend Block (Saturday/Sunday plus one weekday shift)
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care to critically ill neonatal patients in a Level IV/Surgical NICU setting
- Manage and monitor patients with complex diagnoses including CDH, MAS, NEC, TEF/EA, abdominal wall defects, BPD, and pulmonary hypertension
- Deliver pre-operative, peri-operative, and post-operative nursing care as required
- Float to other units as needed to support staffing requirements
- Participate in holiday coverage as required per contract terms
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required
- Experience in a Level IV or Surgical NICU environment
- Must pass drug screening and nicotine testing — no exceptions
- Influenza vaccine required — no exceptions
Preferred Experience / Skills- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification preferred
- Experience managing complex neonatal surgical diagnoses and post-operative neonatal care
