Registered Nurse – NICU / Pediatrics

Contract (13 Weeks) | Onsite | Alternating Days and Nights, 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00–19:00 / 19:30–7:30) | Every Other Weekend Required
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct nursing care to neonatal and pediatric patients including neonates, infants, and pediatric populations
Manage patients with diagnoses including prematurity, apnea of prematurity, bronchopulmonary dysplasia, cardiac defects, feeding issues, and neonatal abstinence syndrome
Operate and monitor specialized equipment including tracheostomies, mechanical ventilators, PICCs, central lines, and TPN/IL infusions
Maintain patient ratios of 1:3, up to 1:4 with lower acuity patient groups
Float within specialty and sister units as needed
Adhere to required holiday and weekend scheduling as assigned
Required Qualifications
Active RN license in Maryland or valid Compact License at time of submission
Minimum 2 years of experience in pediatric or NICU nursing
Demonstrated experience with tracheostomy and mechanical ventilator management
Current BLS certification (AHA only)
Current CPI certification (Calm Every Storm online version accepted)
Candidates must reside 50 or more miles from the facility address (locals under 50 miles are not accepted)
