Contract (13 Weeks) | Rotating Days and Nights (3x12-Hour Shifts) | 7:00–19:30 / 19:00–7:30 | Every Other Weekend Required | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care in a Pediatric Surgical unit with a focus on neonatal and pediatric populations
Monitor and manage patients with conditions including prematurity, AOP, ROP, BPD/CLD, cardiac defects, feeding issues, and NAS
Perform tracheostomy care and management as required by patient acuity
Rotate between day and night shifts as scheduled, including required holiday coverage
Float within specialty as needed per unit requirements
Required Qualifications
Active RN license in Maryland or a valid Compact license at time of submission
Minimum 2 years of RN experience; NICU experience required
BLS certification (American Heart Association only)
NRP certification (NRP or AAP accepted)
CPI certification required (Calm Every Storm online version is the only accepted online option)
Permanent address must be 50 or more miles from the facility location
Preferred Experience / Skills
Experience in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) setting
Familiarity with iatrogenic NAS management
ACLS or PALS certification (American Heart Association only)
