Travel Nurse RN - Neonatal Intensive Care Unit in Brockton, MA

Contract | 12-Hour Night Shifts | Shift options: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM or 11:00 PM – 11:30 AM (please indicate preferred shift when applying) | Every other weekend | Every other holiday

Key Responsibilities

• Provide in-house emergency nursing services to both full-term and premature infants in a Level II Nursery setting
• Deliver complex medical and surgical nursing care to critically ill neonates and infants
• Ensure competent, compassionate, and culturally sensitive care for patients and their families
• Perform thorough assessments and apply strong clinical and organizational skills to manage patient care safely and effectively
• Utilize charge capabilities and computer systems to support unit operations and documentation
• Perform mathematical computations required to carry out treatment protocols; assist with lifting, transferring, and moving patients as needed

Required Qualifications

• Nursing Diploma, ASN, or BSN (BSN preferred)
• Minimum 2 years of NICU RN experience required
• Current Massachusetts RN license required
• BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility will be considered at a local rate

Preferred Experience / Skills

• BSN degree
• Experience in a Level II Nursery environment
• Charge nurse experience
