Travel Nurse RN - Neonatal Intensive Care Unit in Charlottesville, VA

Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights (4x12 Hours, 19:00–07:00) | Expected 36–48 hours/week | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to neonatal patients in an intensive care unit setting
• Perform clinical assessments and interventions in accordance with NICU standards of practice
• Participate in infant-driven feeding protocols, including application of Dr. Brown's Infant Driven Feeding certification principles
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to support neonatal patient outcomes
• Float within scope of practice to other units as needed per facility policy
• Document patient care accurately using Epic electronic health records

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in Virginia (pending license accepted; must be in hand by the Wednesday before start date)
• BLS certification required
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required and must be in hand at time of submission
• Dr. Brown's Infant Driven Feeding Certification required (may be submitted with certification pending)
• Epic experience required
• Nursys verification required at time of submission
• References required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• BSN preferred
• Prior travel nursing experience in a NICU setting
• Familiarity with infant-driven feeding protocols and neonatal care best practices
