Key Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, and implement direct clinical care for assigned NICU patients on a per-shift basis
• Monitor and evaluate patient responses to treatment, adjusting care plans as appropriate
• Supervise and delegate patient care tasks to appropriate clinical staff
• Support nursing leadership in maintaining high-quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care
• Ensure competency of clinical staff and appropriate resource management related to patient care

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Michigan or compact eligibility
• Prior NICU nursing experience required
• Current BLS certification required
• Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a high-acuity or Level III/IV NICU environment
• Familiarity with neonatal assessment and specialized neonatal equipment
• Strong communication and interdisciplinary team collaboration skills
