    Job Title

    Contract RN – NICU (Night Shift)

    Location

    El Paso, TX

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Full-Time | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Rotating Weekends | Onsite

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care in a Level 3 NICU with patient ratios of 1:1, 2:1, 3:1, and 4:1 depending on acuity
    • Operate and monitor specialized equipment including giraffe warmers, giraffe incubators, vapotherms, bubble CPAP, ventilators, oscillators, and bili lights
    • Assist with or perform procedures such as PICC line placement, UAC/UVC placement, lumbar puncture, exchange transfusion, chest tube insertion, and intubation
    • Document patient care accurately using Meditech EMR
    • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team across a 21-bed unit on rotating night shifts
    • Adhere to unit dress code requirements including Galaxy Blue scrubs
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
    • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
    • Minimum of 1 year of NICU experience
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • STABLE Program certification
    • Experience with advanced neonatal procedures including intubation, PICC line placement, and UAC/UVC placement
    • Familiarity with Meditech EMR
    • Demonstrated team-oriented approach with a positive, collaborative attitude
