Provide direct patient care in a Level 3 NICU with patient ratios of 1:1, 2:1, 3:1, and 4:1 depending on acuity
Operate and monitor specialized equipment including giraffe warmers, giraffe incubators, vapotherms, bubble CPAP, ventilators, oscillators, and bili lights
Assist with or perform procedures such as PICC line placement, UAC/UVC placement, lumbar puncture, exchange transfusion, chest tube insertion, and intubation
Document patient care accurately using Meditech EMR
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team across a 21-bed unit on rotating night shifts
Adhere to unit dress code requirements including Galaxy Blue scrubs
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
Minimum of 1 year of NICU experience
Preferred Experience / Skills
STABLE Program certification
Experience with advanced neonatal procedures including intubation, PICC line placement, and UAC/UVC placement
Familiarity with Meditech EMR
Demonstrated team-oriented approach with a positive, collaborative attitude
