Travel Registered Nurse – NICU (Evenings)

Schedule / Job TypeContract | 13 Weeks | Evenings 3:00 PM – 3:00 AM | Onsite | Travel Position (must reside more than 50 miles from facility)
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in a Level 3 NICU setting, managing a caseload ranging from stable feeder growers to critically ill neonates
- Maintain patient ratios of 1:1 to 1:3 depending on patient acuity and unit needs
- Float within the facility to assist in other areas as needed, without taking a primary assignment in other units
- Participate in block scheduling and adhere to unit-specific protocols and scrub dress code (navy blue)
- Utilize Cerner EMR for accurate and timely documentation of patient care
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of Indiana
- Minimum of 2 years of NICU experience, specifically at Level 3 acuity
- Current ACLS, BLS, NRP, and S.T.A.B.L.E. certifications required
- Proficiency with Cerner EMR
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates will not be accepted
- Valid driver's license with permanent home address matching submitted ID required at time of submission
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience caring for a broad spectrum of neonatal patients across varying acuity levels within a Level 3 NICU
- Comfort with floating to support other areas of a facility while maintaining primary NICU focus
