Travel Registered Nurse – NICU (Weekend Days)

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | 13 Weeks | Weekend Days – Friday, Saturday, Sunday, 3:00 AM – 3:00 PM | Onsite | Travel Position (must reside more than 50 miles from facility)
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct nursing care to NICU patients ranging from stable feeder growers through critical Level 3 patients
Maintain patient ratios of 1:1 to 1:3 within a 40-bed NICU unit
Utilize Cerner EMR for accurate and timely documentation of patient care
Float as needed to assist in other areas of the facility without taking an independent assignment in another unit
Adhere to block scheduling requirements and unit protocols
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in Indiana (or compact license eligibility)
Minimum 2 years of NICU Level 3 experience required
Current ACLS, BLS, NRP, and STABLE certifications required
Proficiency with Cerner EMR
Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility – local candidates will not be accepted
Valid driver's license with permanent home address matching submitted ID required at time of submission
Preferred Experience / Skills
Prior travel nursing experience in a NICU setting
Experience managing a broad acuity range of neonatal patients in a high-volume unit
