Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to neonatal patients in a Level NICU setting on night shift
• Monitor and assess the condition of critically ill or premature newborns throughout the shift
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
• Document patient assessments, care provided, and clinical outcomes accurately and in a timely manner

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Minimum of 2 years of NICU experience
• All required NICU certifications must be obtained and verified prior to start date
• Must reside 60 miles or greater from the worksite to qualify for travel designation
• Must comply with New Mexico State fingerprinting requirement (LPNT): all clinical staff must be fingerprinted before hire and provide documentation that the background check is being processed; travelers may begin on a 14-day waiver under supervision while awaiting results

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in a NICU setting
• Familiarity with Joint Commission accreditation standards and compliance requirements
• Experience working in a facility offering both inpatient and outpatient diagnostic, therapeutic, and rehabilitative services
