Key Responsibilities

• Contribute professional and clinical knowledge and skills in the provision and management of care to neonatal patients as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• Provide direct patient care within the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) setting.
• Administer and monitor vasoactive medications including epinephrine, norepinephrine, and dopamine.
• Utilize the EPIC electronic medical records system to document and manage patient information accurately.
• Float within the same discipline across local campuses as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Active Wisconsin Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required.
• Minimum of 2 years of previous NICU experience required.
• At least one travel nursing contract previously completed required.
• Demonstrated experience with epinephrine, norepinephrine, and dopamine administration required.
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR required.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a high-acuity NICU environment.
• Familiarity with rotating shift schedules in a travel or contract nursing capacity.
