Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute professional and clinical knowledge and skills in the provision and management of care to neonatal patients as part of an interdisciplinary team.
  • Deliver high-quality nursing care within the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, including management of critically ill newborns.
  • Administer and monitor vasoactive medications including epinephrine, norepinephrine, and dopamine.
  • Utilize the EPIC electronic medical records system to document and manage patient care.
  • Float within the same discipline across local campuses as needed.
Required Qualifications
  • Current, valid Wisconsin Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of previous NICU experience required.
  • At least 1 completed travel nursing contract required.
  • Demonstrated experience with epinephrine, norepinephrine, and dopamine administration required.
  • Proficiency with EPIC EMR required.
Preferred Experience / Skills
  • Experience working in a Level III or higher NICU setting.
  • Familiarity with rotating shift schedules in a fast-paced critical care environment.
