Key Responsibilities- Contribute professional and clinical knowledge and skills in the provision and management of care to neonatal patients as part of an interdisciplinary team.
- Deliver high-quality nursing care within the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, including management of critically ill newborns.
- Administer and monitor vasoactive medications including epinephrine, norepinephrine, and dopamine.
- Utilize the EPIC electronic medical records system to document and manage patient care.
- Float within the same discipline across local campuses as needed.
Required Qualifications- Current, valid Wisconsin Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association required.
- Minimum of 2 years of previous NICU experience required.
- At least 1 completed travel nursing contract required.
- Demonstrated experience with epinephrine, norepinephrine, and dopamine administration required.
- Proficiency with EPIC EMR required.
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience working in a Level III or higher NICU setting.
- Familiarity with rotating shift schedules in a fast-paced critical care environment.
