Travel Registered Nurse – NICU
Location
McKinney, TX
Schedule / Job Type
Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Full-Time | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite | 36 Guaranteed Hours per Week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Level III NICU setting with a patient ratio of 2:3
- Operate and monitor specialized equipment including BCPAP and HFNC
- Document patient care accurately using Meditech and CPN electronic documentation systems
- Attend deliveries as required, including C-sections
- Participate in self-scheduling and float to other units as needed
Required Qualifications
- Active Texas RN License (temporary licenses will not be accepted)
- Minimum 2+ years of hospital and NICU specialty experience
- Level III NICU experience required
- Current BLS certification
- Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
- Ability to attend all deliveries, including C-sections
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Meditech electronic documentation system
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as a team player in a fast-paced NICU environment
