Schedule / Job TypeContract | 36 hours per week | Rotating 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM–7:30 PM and 7:15 PM–7:15 AM) | Every other weekend and rotating holidays required | Onsite
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care to neonatal patients in a Special Care Nursery setting
- Monitor and assess the condition of newborns requiring specialized medical attention
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
- Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Current BLS certification
- Experience in NICU or Special Care Nursery nursing
- Ability to work rotating shifts, including days and nights, based on department needs
- Availability to work every other weekend and rotating holidays
Preferred Experience / Skills- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
- Prior experience in a Level II or Level III NICU environment
