Travel Nurse RN - Neonatal Intensive Care Unit in Oklahoma City, OK

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Level 3 NICU setting during overnight shifts
• Assess, monitor, and document patient status using Epic electronic health records
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to support neonatal patient outcomes
• Adhere to facility scheduling requirements, including weekend rotation of 5 shifts per 6-week cycle
• Float within scope of practice to other units or sister facilities as needed to meet staffing demands

Required Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license — no pending licenses accepted
• Minimum 2 years of Level 3 NICU experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
• Current BLS, NRP/NALS, and STABLE certifications required
• Proficiency with Epic charting system
• Must reside more than 75 miles from the contracted facility — local candidates are not eligible
• Valid driver's license or state-issued ID, plus a utility bill in the traveler's name with a matching address dated within the last three months, required for compliance verification

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience floating across multiple units or facilities within a large health system
• Familiarity with travel nursing compliance requirements and documentation standards
