Provide direct bedside nursing care to sick neonates in a Level III NICU setting with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:1 or 1:2 (tripling possible in low-acuity cases)
Operate and monitor conventional ventilators, high-frequency jet ventilators, high-frequency oscillators, CPAP, high-flow nasal cannula, and nitric oxide delivery systems
Manage all aspects of NICU care, excluding surgical and cardiac cases, across a 41-bed unit with single, double, and triple room configurations
Float to the Well Baby Nursery as needed
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to assess, plan, and implement individualized patient care plans for neonatal patients
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
Minimum of 2 years of NICU nursing experience
Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
Current BLS certification
Demonstrated experience caring for sick neonates
Preferred Experience / Skills
Weekend availability preferred, though not required
Prior travel nursing experience is a plus but not required
