Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 3 x 12-hour shifts | 36 hours per week

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver professional nursing care to neonatal patients in alignment with evidence-based nursing and patient care practice standards
• Collaborate with the healthcare team, patients, and families to promote patient health and support individualized nursing and medical plans of care
• Provide care appropriate to each patient's age and condition in accordance with hospital goals, values, and regulatory standards
• Float between multiple campuses as assigned, including coverage in PICU and CVICU settings
• Adhere to facility vaccination and masking protocols, including flu vaccination requirements during respiratory virus season (October through April)

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of RN experience in a NICU setting, with experience in PICU and CVICU
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing
• Current State of Arizona RN license, or an RN license from a compact state with multistate privileges, or the ability to establish Arizona licensure prior to start date
• Current BLS certification for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association
• Current PALS certification from the American Heart Association
• Current Advanced NRP certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a Level III or Level IV NICU strongly preferred
• Previous experience in a children's hospital setting preferred
