Key Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care to sick or premature newborns in a Level IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit
- Deliver advanced treatment and monitoring for neonates with respiratory failure and heart disease
- Perform telemetry monitoring and respond to changes in patient condition
- Assume charge nurse responsibilities as needed per unit requirements
- Participate in rotating shift schedules including weekends, holidays, and on-call/callback assignments
Required Qualifications- Active New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license required
- Minimum of two (2) years of NICU nursing experience
- Telemetry experience required
- NRP 8th Edition certification required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association required
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience in a high-acuity or Level III/IV NICU setting
- Prior charge nurse experience in a neonatal care environment
