    Job Title

    Registered Nurse – NICU

    Location

    San Francisco, CA

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Variable Day/Night Rotating Shifts | 3x12-Hour Shifts (Days: 7:00–19:30 / Nights: 19:00–7:30)

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care in a Level IV NICU setting, managing critically ill neonatal patients
    • Perform and manage ventilator care, tracheostomy care, telemetry monitoring, and pulmonary artery lines
    • Manage umbilical venous catheters (UVCs), umbilical arterial catheters (UACs), central lines, and chest tubes
    • Float to PICU and CICU as needed, demonstrating clinical competency across units
    • Participate in variable shift scheduling, including both day and night shifts as assigned
    • Complete non-billable orientation modules prior to start and annually as required
    Required Qualifications
    • Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license – must be in hand prior to start
    • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
    • Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
    • Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
    • Minimum 3 years of experience in a Level IV NICU
    • Teaching hospital experience required; must be open to variable day/night rotating shifts
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • STABLE certification
    • Experience with Epic electronic health records system
    • Prior experience floating across multiple inpatient units or facilities
