RN II – NICU (CNA) (Epic)

Contract | Day Shift | 36–48 hours per week | Onsite

• Plan, coordinate, and provide nursing care to patients in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) during assigned shifts
• Perform care planning, medication administration, and monitor physiological changes in neonates
• Address psychosocial needs of neonates and provide education and training to patients and their families
• Supervise and delegate care responsibilities to ancillary personnel within their scope of practice
• Cross-train and float to the Pediatrics unit as needed

• Associate Degree (A.S.) in Nursing or equivalent required
• Minimum two years of NICU experience required
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in state of practice required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor required
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification (AHA or ARC) from an approved vendor required
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) or ARC-NALS certification from an approved vendor required
• Current Epic EMR experience required; candidates must also have Cerner experience within the last 5 years

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Previous neonatal transport experience preferred
• Previous experience attending deliveries for neonatal resuscitation purposes preferred
• RNC or CCRN certification preferred

• Opportunity to contribute to a critical Epic EMR conversion in a specialized neonatal care environment
• Work in a collaborative NICU setting with opportunities to expand skills through cross-training in Pediatrics
