Contract | Night Shift | 12-Hour Shifts (06:00–18:30 / 18:00–06:30)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to neonatal patients in a Level II Special Care Nursery (SCN) setting
- Monitor and assess newborn patients, responding to changes in condition and coordinating with the care team
- Collaborate with 24/7 Neonatal Nurse Practitioners (NNPs) and Neonatology staff to deliver comprehensive neonatal care
- Maintain BLS, NRP, and STABLE certifications and apply competencies in daily clinical practice
- Support a unit caring for approximately 800 births per year across 8 Level II SCN beds
Required Qualifications
- Active RN licensure in good standing
- NICU Level II experience required
- BLS certification required
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
- STABLE certification required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- 2 or more years of SCN or NICU experience
- Familiarity with Level II neonatal care protocols and standards
- Experience working in a high-volume newborn nursery environment
