Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in a Level II Neonatal Intensive Care Unit setting within a short-term acute care facility
- Maintain patient ratios of 1:1, 1:2, or 1:3 depending on patient acuity and unit needs
- Utilize Epic for all clinical documentation and charting
- Participate in weekend coverage on a variable schedule as required
- Float between sister facilities nearby the contracted facility as needed
- Commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse license; compact license must be in hand at time of submission
- Minimum of 1 year of NICU experience required
- Prior travel nursing experience required
- Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to qualify under travel compliance guidelines
- Must be able to commit to all requested time off and scheduling preferences upfront at time of submission
- Two professional references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required prior to start
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience working in a teaching hospital environment
- Familiarity with high-acuity neonatal care across varying patient ratios
- Previous experience in a Level II Trauma or Level II Pediatric Trauma Center setting
