Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in the Acute Neuro Unit, adhering to established protocols and standards.
- Monitor neurological status, vital signs, and administer medications as prescribed, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Manage and operate specialized equipment relevant to neurological care, including continuous EEG monitoring, ICP monitoring, and ventilator support.
- Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, including physicians, therapists, and social workers, to develop and execute individualized care plans.
- Educate patients and families on neurological conditions, treatment plans, medication management, and discharge instructions.
- Maintain accurate and thorough patient records, ensuring compliance with all documentation requirements.
- Respond to emergent situations and provide critical care interventions as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience within an Acute Neuro Unit or similar specialty.
- AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Certification.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.

Shift Details
This is a 13-week contract assignment, scheduled from September 9, 2026, to December 12, 2026. Shifts are 12 hours, 3 days per week, from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM. Specific days will vary based on unit needs. Call requirements: Not specified. Weekend rotations: Not specified.
Licensing Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Georgia or a compact state license.
